My name is Lucía García Baró, and I am an illustrator based in Barcelona, Spain.
I work on editorial, narrative, and graphic illustration, and I have worked on projects such as illustrated books and book covers, as well as cultural and advertissing comissions.
My work is characterized by a poetic and symbolic approach, with a strong focus on color and texture, atmosphere, and visual storytelling. I am especially drawn to projects that begin with a story, and idea or a concept, and that require a thoughtful and distinctive visual translation.
My work is deeply inspired by nature, mysticism, illustrated children’s tales, and the world of fantasy.
